School readiness in Sacramento County: Executive summary 2016

Description:
This study is the fifth kindergarten readiness assessment across the network of Sacramento area elementary schools served by First 5. Beginning in 2012, their purpose is to help First 5 and its partners understand how ready students and their families are for kindergarten across the network and to identify the links between readiness and other aspects of child and family development that First 5 addresses. Results may be used to examine ways that First 5 may better target resources and services to address factors that hinder children's readiness across the First 5 Sacramento network. (author abstract)
