Considerations for leaders: Intersection of early childhood and environmental impacts

Description:

Since 2017, NLC has been working to elevate the vital role of municipal government in creating and strengthening early care and education systems with an emphasis on the prenatal-to-three (P-3) developmental period. In this iteration of the initiative, we are working with five cities: Charleston, SC; Cleveland, OH; Flint, MI; Newark, NJ and Tacoma, WA. This resource focuses on learning from these cities as they work toward better outcomes for the children in their communities. (author abstract)
