Afterschool as a teacher pathway: A briefing paper

Description:

In this paper, the authors suggest that a solution to the national teacher shortage is by building a teacher pipeline through afterschool/out-of-school time (OST) workforce development programs.  Examples of OST residency, fellowship and apprenticeship programs are discussed, as well as comments from interviews in the OST field.
