New findings about the state of quality rating and improvement systems: Results of an evaluation of state CCDF plans

This webinar examines the Benchmarks for Quality Improvement (BQI) project, which was developed to create a mechanism to help States track their progress in serving low-income children in higher quality settings. Featured is a presenter from Indiana who shares her state's experience with the BQI Pilot program. Also highlighted are available resources to aid in the evaluation and improvement of quality rating and improvement systems (QRIS), focusing on the following elements: program standards; supports for programs and practitioners; financial incentives and supports; quality assurance and monitoring; and consumer education.
