This resource presents information on the population of preschool children and available preschool services in Durham County, NC, including information on low-income children and publicly-funded preschool services. "Preschool" is defined as children 3-5 years old and "publicly-funded services" pertain to Durham Public School, Head Start, and North Carolina Prekindergarten (NCPreK) programs only. "Low-income" is defined as family incomes below 200% of Federal Poverty Level. Please note that mapping is based on point-in-time, not live data.
