New Jersey strategic plan Preschool Development Grant Birth through 5 (PDG B-5)

Description:

New Jersey’s vision is for PDG to promote a comprehensive, coordinated early childhood system of care in addressing the physical, social-emotional, behavioral and cognitive aspects of child wellbeing and school readiness from prenatal through age five. Informed by a robust needs assessment and in keeping with ACF guidance, New Jersey developed a Strategic Plan “to plan for changes to the system that maximize the availability of high-quality Early Childhood Care and Education (ECE) options across providers and partners for children and families, improve the quality of care, streamline administrative infrastructure, and improve state/territory-level ECE funding efficiencies.” (author abstract)
