This is a transcript of a presentation to the Michigan State Board of Education about the long-term effects and adult outcomes of high-quality preschool programs. Several outcomes research studies are compared, and enrollment trends are projected based on Michigan’s proposed preschool plan. The author concludes with recommendations for policymakers.
