This guide focuses on the importance of early education centers providing and supporting the mental health of its’ youngest students in the state of Texas. The authors discuss the recent 2019 laws passed by the Texas Legislature to strengthen the efforts of supporting young children’s academics by also meeting their emotional, behavioral, and safety needs in the early education setting.
