Want to grow Tennessee's economy?: Fix the child care crisis

Description:
The study, conducted by Tennesseans for Quality Early Education (TQEE), surveyed Tennessee parents of children under age 5 and modeled how the state's economy is affected by child care. An overwhelming 98% said inadequate child care hurt their work productivity and/or career opportunities. Productivity challenges affect both the employer and employee. (author abstract)
