After looking at the challenges faced by families with infants and toddlers and the consequences for children's development, this document discusses the Building Strong Foundations: Advancing Comprehensive Policies for Infants, Toddlers, and Families initiative and its guiding framework and core policies, which address the areas of health, economic stability, strong parents, and high-quality child care and early education.
