The CHIPS and Science Act allocates $52.7 billion for semiconductor R&D, manufacturing and workforce development. Facilitating access to affordable quality child care is a key step in ensuring semiconductor manufacturers and related industries have the skilled workforce they need to achieve the economic and national security goals of the CHIPS Act.
