Head–Toes–Knees– Shoulders Revised

Description:

The HTKS has now been revised to include a downward extension, called the Head-Toes-Knees-Shoulders-Revised (HTKS-R). This version requires children to first complete a verbal 'opposites' section before continuing through the original HTKS 3-part version. The HTKS-R has been shown to reduce floor effects and is a valid and reliable measure of self-regulation in young children (Gonzales et al., 2021). (author abstract)
