2020 child care supply demand report: Challenges of child care in a pandemic

This report shows how families and communities responded to the COVID-19 pandemic, addressing the pandemic's impact on child care supply, results of a Spring 2020 survey of licensed child care providers, and the decline in family child care homes. It goes on to provide data on essential workers' need for child care during non-traditional hours, child care referral trends, child care capacity and demand, and public/private sector responses to the impact of the pandemic.
