Qualistar's Signature Report provides a situation analysis of licensed child care in Colorado. The first part of this third-annual Signature Report provides updated figures regarding child care availability and affordability, including trends in the supply of child care and a comparison of the price of child care to the costs of public and higher education. The second part of this report takes a closer look at preschool in Colorado, both present and into the future. This report is intended to provide policy-makers, stakeholders and others with key findings that promote a collective effort to improve our state's child care delivery system. (author abstract)
