The following websites offer resources for linking, analyzing, managing, and protecting administrative data. Visit these websites to learn about additional tools, conferences, trainings, and technical assistance that may be available. This page was updated in September 2020.

• Child and Family Data Archive (C&F Data Archive): The C&F Data Archive is the place to discover, access, and analyze data on early care, education, and families. The archive hosts datasets about young children, their families and communities, and the programs that serve them. Resource types available: Reports, papers, data, and briefs.

• Common Education Data Standards (CEDS): CEDS is a national collaborative effort to develop voluntary, common data standards for P-20W (early learning to workforce) systems to support the sharing and reporting of educational data across sectors. Resource types available: Briefs, presentations, data dictionaries, and state profiles.

• The Center for IDEA Early Childhood Data Systems (DaSy Center): The DaSy Center is a national technical assistance center that works with states to support the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) in the development or enhancement of early childhood longitudinal data systems for Part C early intervention and Part B preschool special education programs. Resource types available: Conference materials, online learning, presentations, publications, and webinars.

• Data Quality Campaign (DQC): DQC supports all stakeholders—from parents to policymakers—to promote the effective use of high-quality longitudinal data systems in early childhood, K-12, postsecondary, and the workforce. Resource types available: Fact sheets, federal policy analysis and recommendations, planning tools, publications, and videos.

• Early Childhood Data Collaborative (ECDC): The ECDC provides tools and resources to encourage state policy change and provide a national forum to support the development and use of coordinated state early childhood education data systems. Resource types available: Survey data, state stories, policy briefs, and webinars.

• The National Registry Alliance (TNRA): TNRA works to enhance, strengthen, and support the work of state early childhood and school-age registries by providing an interactive forum for networking and information and strategy exchanges. Resource types available: State registry reports, survey results, and conference materials.

• Privacy Technical Assistance Center (PTAC): PTAC provides assistance through resources, training, and facilitated discussions in the areas of privacy, governance, security, and data disclosure avoidance techniques. Resource types available: Briefs, checklists, and case studies. PTAC also has assembled a series of resources about privacy and data sharing for early childhood programs.

• State Longitudinal Data Systems (SLDS): The SLDS state support team consists of data experts who can assist states with the technical support needed to develop a P-20W (early learning through workforce) state longitudinal data system. Resource types available: Presentations, webinars, publications, and search tools.
