The Early Care and Education (ECE) Access and Choices Workgroup (formerly Subsidy, Access, and Child Care Choices) was created to provide a means to discuss emerging research and policy initiatives related to increasing access to high-quality child care and supporting families' child care search.
The ECE Access and Choices workgroup meets quarterly to discuss emerging research and policy initiatives. These interactive meetings will be designed to keep workgroup members abreast of new research findings and strengthen research-policy-practice connections through information sharing involving researchers, state administrators, and federal staff. Members may be asked to participate in subgroups to develop products.
The project is funded through the Office of Planning, Research, and Evaluation (OPRE) in the Administration for Children and Families (ACF) and managed through a contract with Child Trends.
