This paper examines the effects of preschool programs on Hispanic children's cognitive development. The evaluations and data analysis are based on three studies: (1) Georgetown University's study of Oklahoma's universal pre-K program; (2) the Head Start Impact Study; and (3) the Early Childhood Longitudinal Study (ECLS-K), 1998-1998 Kindergarten cohort.
