Statewide needs assessment on the demand, supply and quality of early learning programs in Florida

Description:

Using data from national and state sources, the University of Florida Partnership documented the characteristics of families with children, the size and demographic characteristics of Florida’s children birth through age five, and the supply of early learning programs, both licensed and license-exempt. Through reviews of research, surveys and interviews with Early Learning Coalitions and other stakeholders, we also summarized what is known about the quality of early childhood programs in Florida.
