Infant and toddler child care data needs in New Jersey

Description:
This report identifies key data needed to inform policy making regarding child care for children under age 3 in New Jersey. As a first step, we set out the available basic facts on New Jersey's infant and toddler population, their child care arrangements, and public supports for their care and education. We also identify the state data systems that provide information relevant to state policies and important "missing" data. Alignment and linkages across data systems for licensing, Grow NJKids, and the state subsidy program could greatly increase the availability of useful information for policy makers. (author abstract)
