To help expand children's repertoire of healthy foods while fostering many other aspects of their learning, early childhood teachers are looking to farm to early care and education—an initiative that is part of the National Farm to School Network—to bring a range of local foods, gardening techniques, and experiential learning opportunities to young children and their families.
