This section provides a discussion of the results of and the implications of a longitudinal study that uses a spatial measure, the Test of Spatial Assembly (TOSA), and that considers early spatial skills, measurement reliability, the prediction of spatial and mathematical skills at age 5, and factors that contribute to differences in preschoolers' skills development.
