This fact sheet examines federal requirements and standards pertaining to safe sleep practices for all providers that receive payment from the Child Care and Development Fund (CCDF). Examples are provided from several states that already have requirements for license-exempt providers, as all states are required to follow suit under the CCDF reauthorization.
