PEACH Paper 5 - Completing the System: The Current Status of ECE Doctoral and Master's Degree Programs in Los Angeles County describes existing doctoral and master's degree programs for ECE professionals to pursue within the greater Los Angeles area. In addition, programs outside of LA County are highlighted as these provide examples of programs with a stronger emphasis on ECE-related (e.g., child development, human development, developmental psychology, child and family studies) disciplines. The rationale for ECE-specific higher degree options and the need for discipline specific doctoral programs within Los Angeles County are discussed as well. (author abstract)
