Child care assistance for parents in education and training: Executive summary

Description:
The brief and its parent report are part of a larger Urban Institute project -- Bridging the Gap: Understanding the Intersection between Workforce Development and Child Care -- supported by the Ford Foundation, that examines the intersection between workforce development and child care. These two publications focus on one element of this intersection: the Child Care and Development Fund (CCDF), the major federal and state child care assistance program. In particular, they examine CCDF eligibility policies and services for parents who need child care to participate in education and training activities. (author abstract)
