Sociodemographic Disparities in Market Change and Programmatic Mission Under Preschool for All: A Case Study of Illinois

Description:
This dissertation employs mixed methods and multiple data sources to investigate the implications of Illinois' universal Preschool for All program for ZIP codes characterized by varying family income, racial/ethnic, and linguistic backgrounds. Changes over time in the supply of preschool aged care across Illinois will be examined as well as ideational differences among Chicago area center preschool directors' approaches to providing preschool.
