A qualitative study of 8 male and 8 female kindergarten children?s exhibited stress behaviors during the academic work period based on classroom observations, open-ended interviews with teachers, artifacts collected from the classroom, and specific work artifacts of the children in a suburban private school in a major metropolitan area of the southeastern United States
