This study seeks to identify and explain EHS staff perceptions of the work environment, programmatic leadership practices, and the effectiveness of professional development that they experience. In particular, this study seeks to understand how these elements differ across different home visitor profiles. Further, this study seeks to link these elements back to EHS home visitor job satisfaction. In addition, this study will help in understanding how local level policies may better assist home visitors and how federal policies may further strengthen the local-level efforts of EHS grantees. The proposed project is a three-phase mixed methods explanatory sequential design. (author abstract)
