High-quality early care and learning is a critical piece of community infrastructure. Access to high-quality child care not only helps prepare children for success in school and beyond, but also enables parents to participate in the workforce or pursue their own education. This report summarizes the third analysis of child care shortages in the five-county metro Atlanta region (Clayton, Cobb, DeKalb, Fulton, and Gwinnett counties), hereafter ‘five-county region.’ (author abstract)
