In Ohio’s Strategic Plan for Education, the vision is that each child is challenged to discover and learn, prepared to pursue a fulfilling post-high school path, and empowered to become a resilient, lifelong learner who contributes to society. In order to support schools in creating the environments where this happens for each child, this document offers an introduction to including each child, beginning in preschool. We hope that districts will use this document to examine their current practices and consider steps to expand these practices along the full continuum of inclusion. (author abstract)
