The Referrals and Outreach team at Illinois Action for Children (IAFC) followed Cook County parents for almost a year to learn about families’ experiences during the COVID-19 pandemic. A survey and two in-depth interviews developed by the Referrals and Outreach and Research teams focused on employment, child care, family well-being and children’s schooling during the pandemic.
