This brief provides highlights from the 2013-2014 Civil Rights Data Collection (CRDC) that surveys public schools and school districts in the United States. Data is presented regarding school discipline, the use of restraint and seclusion, early learning programs, college and career readiness, chronic student absenteeism, educational programming in justice facilities, and teacher and staffing equity.
