Evaluation of the New York City Pre-K for All initiative, 2014-15: Implementation study report: Curriculum and instruction

Description:
This report presents implementation findings on the topic of curriculum and instruction from the perspective of Pre-K for All site administrators and instructional staff. Sources of data include surveys of site administrators and instructional staff from a sample of 201 sites and in-depth interviews with administrators and staff at 40 of these sites, as well as a review of available documentation. The sites included in the study were sampled to be representative of all Pre-K for All sites and recruited to participate in the evaluation. Findings are based on self-reported data; the use of curriculum and fidelity of implementation were not directly observed. Survey response rates were 91 percent for site administrators and 69 percent for instructional staff. (author abstract)
