This document provides an overview of the New Mexico Prekindergarten Data Inventory, which is in a separate Excel spreadsheet available upon request (see sidebar). The data inventory includes information about data collected by the New Mexico Public Education Department (NMPED); the New Mexico Children, Youth and Families Department (CYFD); the U.S. Department of Education, and other organizations. Included data elements focus on children from birth through elementary school as well as parents, caregivers, teachers, preK programs, and elementary schools. (author abstract)
