Louisiana child care market rate survey 2014

Description:
Care Solutions, Inc., a management consulting firm under contract with the Louisiana Department of Education and in concert with the Louisiana Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS), conducted a survey of child care providers in the fall of 2014 to determine local child care market rates and other information about child care providers in the state. Louisiana subsidizes a portion of child care expenses incurred by some low income families and families receiving protective services. The survey data are used, in part, to assist the state in setting child care reimbursement rates. (author abstract)
