Quality rating and improvement system for early care and education: Development, implementation, evaluation and learning

Description:
The Quality Rating and Improvement System (QRIS) has now gained a national momentum. The authors first present the national QRIS scene and then offer the Children's Services Council of Palm Beach County as a case study to illustrate many aspects of the system. First, the authors examine the logic model behind the QRIS. Next, they review its design and implementation in the context of partnership and systems thinking. Finally, they provide an evaluation design and research findings. (author abstract)
