Infant and toddler messaging guide update

Description:

In 2015, Advocacy & Communication Solutions, LLC (ACS) and ZERO TO THREE created the original Infant and Toddler Messaging Guide. As the first of its kind, the 2015 Guide helped fill a void with regard to messaging about the importance of early care and education for infants and toddlers. It included sample messages from across the country, suggestions for how to improve those messages, and guidance on how to develop new effective infant and toddler messages. A good bit has changed in the last two years, with new developments in every arena from practice to policy. As a result, ACS is pleased to provide this updated version of the Infant and Toddler Messaging Guide, which includes: Updated tools and tips from experts who use infant and toddler messages; New examples of effective infant and toddler messages; A synthesis of effective words and phrases used by national experts, for different audiences; Trends and themes in messaging; and Common questions and answers. Information in the updated Infant and Toddler Messaging Guide builds on our past research and adds new elements. (author abstract)
