Young learners: Mapping the beliefs and practices of preschool teachers in relation to early literacy development

A case study investigation of the relationship between the beliefs and practices of early care and education teachers and the early literacy development of children, based on data from 25 preschool teachers working with 4- to 5-year-old children participating in the Young Learners' Project (YLP), a large-scale longitudinal study of children's early literacy experiences that took place between 2007-2012, as well as a discussion of the challenges of the multiple methods used to examine those beliefs and practices
