This document describes the Colorado Early Childhood Engagement Framework developed for the Colorado Office of Early Childhood. An explanation is provided about the four key principles on which the framework is based, including family-centered, equity, cultural and linguistic responsiveness, and inclusiveness. The document concludes with recommendations for implementing the framework in early education systems and an outline of the prospective outcomes of using the framework.
