This report of narratives shares select results from qualitative research conducted with a 120-family sub-sample of families from the Head Start Family and Child Experiences Survey (FACES) 1997 cohort. Respondents were asked to describe the characteristics of their children and families, their interactions with Head Start, their homes, and their neighborhoods.
